Logic Explains "AfricAryaN" Album Title

The rapper says it's about "seeing life from two sides."

The title of Logic's third studio album was revealed to be AfricAryaN yesterday, and new footage of the rapper explaining the name has surfaced today.

“It's about me being black and white, and seeing life from two sides," says the rapper, who is bi-racial. "[It's about] the cultural evolution and how you can go from the darkest of skin to the lightest of skin ... At the end of the fucking day, we all have so many different ethnicities in our blood, no matter how pure we think we are."

While Logic revealed the title on Dan Harmon's podcast, his management has told DJ Booth that "nothing is solidified yet," and thatAfricAryaN is a working title.

Logic released his Bobby Tarantino mixtape earlier this year. It is available for stream here.

Meek Mill Explains Why Nicki Minaj "Understands" Him

Meek Mill is the star of the new Noisey Raps production.

Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj have been going strong for a while now, but it should be no surprise for Meek, who's been sure Nicki was the right woman for him long before the two got together,

"Where I come from. I can't just be from the hood and have a total opposite girlfriend, she don't know nothing about where I come from. She don't understand me," he explains in the new episode of Noisey Raps.

He explains that Nicki checks all of the boxes he looks for in a partner. "Somebody that'll understand me. Somebody that hustle. You know what I'm saying? Somebody that's aggressive. These are things I like," he says, before revealing the extent to which he was enamored with Nicki before they got together. "I used to always tell my friends -- I even got raps 'such and such with Nicki.' I always had it like that. That was someone I admired at the time."

"I wake up in my bed and I just look at Nicki like, 'Man, this shit has gotta be a dream because we used to dream all this shit and it's just going on right now," he says. "I always seen it like this. This Christian Mom Is Furious About Vince Staples' Song "Norf Norf"

A Christian mother of four has heard Vince Staples for the first time, bringing tears to her eyes. Unfortunately, they're not the good kind.

A new viral video is making the rounds on Twitter, showing a distraught woman describing her experience hearing Vince'sSummertime '06 single on the radio recently. "Guys, I could not believe what I was hearing," she says at the start of the 11-minute diatribe. "This is on our local radio station! This crap is being played! I couldn't even believe the words that I was listening to. As a mom, it infuriated me."

Apparently, the only solution for this woman was to read the lyrics to Vince's song in its entirety, which of course, brought her to tears once again. Ironically, as offensive as she found the song, she was perfectly alright with saying the N-word multiple times.

It seems that the unnamed woman's attempt to rally against the song has backfired, as the reaction to her tearful rant has garnered quite the opposite reaction she was hoping for.

Young Thug's Instagram Account Hacked

Young Thug is the latest victim of an IG hack.

In similar fashion to last night, where we saw J Cole’s twitter account get hacked, it looks like Young Thug’s is the latest victim of another hacking incident, only except his came on Instagram Tuesday night.

Now deleted however, someone posted a picture of Thugger and a woman with a “cropped out” face along with caption “my babies”, before adding another post calling out Travis Scott “bitch nigga dead.” It was immediately clear that Thugger was hacked, but not before the hacker got a couple more ridiculous posts in before being deleted.

Kid Cudi Checks Himself Into Rehab For "Depression & Suicidal Urges"

Kid Cudi is checking himself into rehab.

It appears Kid Cudi’s issues are much more serious than anyone knew. On Tuesday night, the Cleveland native took to his Facebook page to announce that he’s checking himself into rehab for what he says is “depression and suicidal urges.” Cudi says he still plans to release music as planned, but needs this time to work on himself.

“I am not at peace. I haven’t been since you’ve known me. If I didn’t come here, I wouldve done something to myself. I simply am a damaged human swimming in a pool of emotions everyday of my life. Theres a ragin violent storm inside of my heart at all times. Idk what peace feels like,” he wrote in an extremely lengthy post.

Following his feelings & update on his mindset, Cudi gave a minor update on the forthcoming album Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin, which he says will hopefully be out by the time Complex’s Complexcon fest happens which is November 5-6. He says he’s leaving it up to his label & manager to handle the promotion, etc.
